Sunday the 17th - A Day With The Elephants!

Elephant Sanctuary Visit

Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable ecotourism project. They have eight locations in the province of Chiang Mai and one in Phuket. We visited Camp 1 located about 1.5 hours from our house. There were at least a couple dozen elephants and we got to feed them bananas and bamboo, make and feed them medicine balls, give one elephant a wellness check, and then bathed some.
