First Day of Work
This morning we headed out to the Wildflower Home to start our service project. Half of the students worked with some of the older children - teaching them English, playing music, or drawing. The other half worked on moving dirt to the banana grove so that it can be expanded. We had lunch there with the mothers and kids.
In the afternoon we got to spend time with a monk learning about Buddhism. The students had a lot of interesting questions for him and he offered a lot of insight and personal experiences.
After that we walked around the area near our house for a little shopping (and, of course, we ran across some more temples). Then we went out for some Pad Thai for dinner.
